Ess is a young warrior in training and the heir to the Amazon queendom. Unusually short and skinny for an Amazon, she shows little aptitude for the battlefield, but is keen to live up to her mother's expectations. She spends most of her time with her two closest friends, Androdameia and Pantariste.
