Perhaps at some point in the future I'll want to talk at length about the drama that necessitated my absence, and the less-than-satisfactory conclusion to the whole affair. But for the time being, I'll just say that I'm glad to be back, and I'm sorry for the unexpected hiatus. A lot of comics do seem to suddenly stop updating at around this point in their lifespan, so thanks for sticking around. Those of you that have, anyway.

Comments on today's comic: Uh... I don't really like the way it looks, but at least it's up. Maybe it'll take me a while to get back in practice. Yeah, that seems like a plausible excuse.

So, I tend to catch onto these social trends 1-2 years after everyone else. I got into Ninja Turtles just as everyone else was getting sick of them, so I don't see why things should be any different on the internet. Anyway, by some strange sequence of events I've ended up with a Facebook account. You know, Facebook... it's like MySpace, but for grownups. At the moment, this account is pretty useless: I have a total of three contacts, plus this one guy who wants to add me as a friend because we share the same surname. But it occurred to me that some of you might have Facebook accounts too, so perhaps we could establish some sort of presence on there. If there's interest then I'll set up a group for the comic, but until then, feel free to add me as a contact.
