Over the last few days, my computer made it very clear
that it wasn't going to get better, and by Wednesday
night the Tiny Coloured Barcodes of Doom were
multiplying furiously while stubbornly staking out the
top of my screen. So I caved in and actually took the
machine to be fixed... quite a decision for me, as I
don't like the idea of placing my beloved computer in
the hands of another (and it's not just because of all
the weird niche pornography on there). But to say I was
pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. The
problem was fixed in five minutes, and I wasn't charged
for labour. That's good service. But when they guy who's
just fixed your computer then gives you a lift home...
That is pretty awesome indeed. Pretty awesome
indeed, my friends.
