07/07/08 Ninety-nine red balloons... closely followed by another one.
Hey guys, it's the one hundredth comic today. Comic 100 itself is, as you can see, a slightly unusual affair, although probably not as big and lavish as it could have been. It is, after all, just another comic...

To be honest, I'm a little surprised myself that I've reached this stage. It's not that the comic wasn't planned to go on for a long time (I have six chapters planned out already, and more forming beyond those), it's more that I'm very bad at sticking to a project, so I half expected this to fizzle out around the 30 comics mark.

I felt like I should do something special for Comic 100, even though celebrating my own achievement like this feels a bit egotistical. But anyway, here's something to mark the occasion. Yep, it's a wallpaper! And this one is (arguably) less bad than the others...

100 editions of Amazoness!
For 4:3 monitors (800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864)
For 5:4 monitors (1280x1024)
For 16:10 monitors (1440x900)

Anyway, I've genuinely enjoyed doing the comic so far, even the bits I hate (grr, stupid annoying backgrounds, stupid annoying shading...). And honestly, one of the best parts is getting feedback from readers, hearing speculation on where my silly stories are going, and so on. I want to thank everyone who's supported me, from the shoutbox residents, to the people who've helped out with the site, to that curious Hungarian webcomic that linked to me a while back. You are all awesome.
